Aelle Landscaping

This is the section where we detail what we do and give examples of it. Here at Aelle we are always looking to expand our matrials list and inivate in design. as well as the pages listed above here are some more landscaping aspects that we havent had time to build pages for yet, ie: the summer house in the picture, which was build mostly from reclaimed matials.

Specialist Oak

Over the last 8 years we have perfected the skills needed to work green Oak within the garden, from arbours to arches to pergolas and terracing/walling to decks.

We have built green Oak decks on the Thames in London and many Wiltshire gardens now have oak playing some part within the garden landscape.

Landscapers from around the country ask our advice on the construction and usage of Oak!

Oak is known for its lovely honey colours turning to a weathered grey in time. Oak gets harder with age and has been used in the construction of houses and boat building for hundreds of years.

Garden structures

From a painted arch to a rustic Oak arbour these features can add vertical height and a major focal point. As well as drawing the eye they can give shade, a pathway to another part of the garden, Screening an unsightly view or object, blocking a cold north wind and can act as a host for climbing plants. An Oak timbered summer house with a tiled roof can be an escape from the stress of life. A tree platform will provide a place for children and adults to play or watch wildlife. A wooden tool shed can be a beautiful object in its own right. Aelle can buy in and erect off the peg structures or allow us to design and build your own unique garden building. Pools and water features

Wildlife, child safety and design all play there part in the construction of a water feature. Formal or informal, wildlife to waterfall, any water feature can provide movement, sound and interest.

Lawn and grass

Perhaps the most important surface in an English garden from a formal neatly mown lawn to a wildlife friendly area cut just once a year. It provides a soft backdrop to a range of looks and activities. Lawns can be the most dominant area in a garden from a formal rectangle to sweeping curves all benefit from a design perspective which should blend in with the desired look. Turfing can be carried out all year round and our supplier has excellent purpose grown turf. The other option is seeding which is best carried out in Aprill through to September.
